Elekta Flexitron

Elekta Brachytherapy solutions are designed for precise, targeted treatment of various cancers such as prostate, breast, skin and surface, rectum and gynecological anatomy. Brachytherapy is suited as a single modality or in combination with other treatments such as external beam radiation therapy.

Zentis has worked on the software development for both device firmware as the accompanying pc software for this class 2b medical device. The engineers worked together with Elekta in scrum teams.

The challenge was to make an completely new User Interface technique and improve the testability of the system. The old system was not easy to maintain and didn’t meet the latest requirements.
